To Do List - eek!

The time is ticking away, as at today, 10th March, there are 4 months, 1 week & 5 days till our surprise wedding!

The whole surprise thing has meant that I'm pretty much organising EVERYTHING with little, ok just about no, input from anyone! Hence the to do list is piling up!

• Get engaged :)
• Engagement ring! - we picked it up on Saturday 12 March - love it!
• Book venue - Pokolbin Community Hall
• Pay deposit on venue - bargain!
• Book photographer - Katrina Partridge
• Decide re if having video - not having a video
• Catering - quotes
• Catering - taste test
• Book caterer - Hot Rock Events + Catering
• Pay deposit to caterer
• Finalise menu choices to caterer
• Decide re cake
• Book & pay deposit for cake
• Decorations - booked a local lady to help put them up
• Buy decorations online if cheaper!
• Music - ipod or band?
• Music - load songs or book band
• Guestbook? - love it, from guestbookstore.com
• Celebrant - research
• Celebrant - book & pay deposit - Victoria Langham, Beautiful Days
• Meet with Celebrant - official paperwork
• Finalise guestlist
• Accommodation for guests - quotes
• Transport for guests from airport - organise
• MC - decide who and ask them
• Best Man & Best Woman - asked my sister, Mr Mel to ask his best mate
• Invitations - make or buy?
• Invitation packs - put together & send
• Dress - get made or buy? - Newcastle Bridal House
• Shoes - now need to dye them!
• Mr Mel's clobber - decide what he'll wear!
• Wedding program & vows
• Wedding rings
• Hair & Makeup - booked trial & wedding day
• Flowers - visit local supplier re what will be available in winter
• Honeymoon - booked & paid deposit for Erakor Island Resort, Vanuatu - yay!
